Eric drew up AFP’s Charter, setting out the Agency’s guiding principles, its code of ethics and 20 Principles of Sourcing after extensive consultations within the Agency and study of existing journalism codes of conduct. The ethics code was published in English, French, Arabic, Spanish and, in partnership with Hong Kong University’s Journalism and Media Studies Centre, Chinese.
