Eric teaches at the Journalism and Media Studies Centre of Hong Kong University and at Hong Kong Baptist University, and is the external examiner for Cardiff University’s School of Journalism.
He teaches two classes at HKU: Principles of Journalism and the News Media, and News Reporting and Writing. He taught conflict reporting at Baptist University for five years and now teaches two tutor groups. He has given regular talks at universities and schools on different aspects of journalism.
